Santa Monica Playhouse

Santa Monica Playhouse, established in 1960, is the oldest continuously operating professional theatre in Los Angeles and an internationally acclaimed intimate theatre and educational conservatory. Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Playhouse presents Main Stage evening productions, Family Theatre musicals, workshops, and educational programs for all ages, and conducts international cultural exchange tours. Under the co-artistic direction of Evelyn Rudie and Chris DeCarlo since 1973, the organization has mounted over 600 productions and directly touched the lives of more than 5 million people worldwide.
