About

Ron & Aussie Productions is a Canadian film and television production company based in Toronto, founded by filmmaker Ron Dias and producer Joanne Jansen. The company is dedicated to bold, audience-first storytelling that spotlights underrepresented voices with global-pop cinema sensibilities. Their breakout feature Bite of a Mango (2022) premiered at the American Black Film Festival and secured distribution via AMC Networks' ALLBLK, while follow-up feature Morningside (2025) became the highest-grossing homegrown Canadian release in its theatrical window. In August 2026, the company signed a three-picture co-production deal with Toronto-based Launch North.
