About

Primordial Soup Labs, Inc. is an AI-native creative studio and technology company founded in 2025 by acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, headquartered in New York City. The studio merges bold narrative, emotional depth, and generative AI workflows to develop original stories — including feature films, short-form series, and branded projects — while also building proprietary tools to tell them. Best known for its non-exclusive partnership with Google DeepMind, Primordial Soup provides world-leading generative artists and storytellers early access to cutting-edge AI video tools (including Veo), positioning artists rather than algorithms as the creative drivers. In July 2026, the company filed with the SEC to raise $15 million in equity, with over $11 million already sold, underscoring its rapid growth and ambitions as a leading AI-forward studio.
