Pavo Films

Pavo Films is a Paris-based independent production company co-founded by Cosmin Illes and Némésis Srour, dedicated to independent and auteur Indian cinema. The company announced its formation at the Cannes Film Market in May 2026, debuting as French co-producer on Gurvinder Singh's Punjabi-language feature 'Rehmat,' starring Naseeruddin Shah, produced in India by Vahao Studio. Illes brings over six years of experience working with international streaming platforms (Canal+, Globo) and served as Head of Marketing at LaCinetek, while Srour is the author of 'Bollywood Film Traffic' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024) and has more than a decade of experience distributing and curating South Asian cinema in France.
