Pan Macmillan

Pan Macmillan is the UK-based general trade book publishing arm of Macmillan Publishers International Ltd (MPIL), and is the fourth largest publisher in the UK. Founded from the union of Macmillan Publishers (est. 1843) and Pan Books (est. 1944), it publishes a broad range of adult and children's fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and audiobooks across numerous imprints including Picador, Pan, Tor, Bluebird, Macmillan Children's Books, and Harriman House. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, a family-owned German media company, and has been named Publisher of the Year multiple times at the British Book Awards.
