On the Roam

On the Roam is a Los Angeles-based creative production company founded in 2018 as a joint venture between Ignition Creative and Pride of Gypsies, the boutique production banner of actor/director Jason Momoa and his longtime creative partner Brian Andrew Mendoza. The company produces scripted and unscripted original branded content, television series, and motion pictures, operating with a cinema vérité, intimate aesthetic and a commitment to authentic storytelling. It is best known for the Max docuseries 'On The Roam' (2024–) and has produced major studio projects including 'A Minecraft Movie' (2025, Warner Bros./Legendary, grossing $961M worldwide), Apple TV+'s historical drama 'Chief of War' (2025), and the upcoming Netflix action-comedy 'Protecting Jared' (in production, 2026).
