Oma Inge Film GmbH is an independent German production company founded in 2015 by Frauke Kolbmüller in Hamburg, and expanded in 2022 to Leipzig with producer Jana Lotze. The company produces feature films, documentaries, and series — both arthouse and mainstream — with a focus on authentic, diverse, and international storytelling. 'Oma Inge' (translated as 'Grandma Inge') reflects the company's ethos of deep trust, individuality, and familial solidarity. Beyond German productions, the company co-produces with European, Latin American, and East and South East Asian partners.
