Nickelodeon Animation Studio is one of the world's most prolific animation studios, operating since 1992 (originally as Games Animation) out of its 72,000-square-foot Burbank campus and a second facility in New York City. The studio has created landmark animated series for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and Nicktoons — including SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Fairly OddParents, Dora the Explorer, and The Loud House. As of April 2026, Nickelodeon Animation Studios operates as its own label within CBS Studios (part of Paramount Skydance), with Alec Botnick serving as president. The studio continues to develop animated series and features across linear television, Paramount+, Netflix, and other streaming platforms.
