Monika Dalman Casting

Monika Dalman Casting is a Vancouver-based freelance casting operation led by Casting Director Monika Dalman (CDC), specializing in projects spanning non-union commercials, UBCP/ACTRA and SAG features, and vertical microdrama series. Dalman has cast nearly 60 vertical microdramas worldwide since 2023 and is Co-Founder of both the Vertical Film & Short Series Alliance (VFSSA) and the vertical production consulting firm Type Eh Media. Her traditional media credits span CBC, TVO, PBS, Disney, and Marvel, with indie projects backed by Telefilm, the Canada Media Fund, TELUS Storyhive, and Crazy8s, as well as voice-over and motion capture work for video games. She has been featured in The Hollywood Reporter, the Vancouver Sun, CBC Radio, Playback, C21Media, and the Canada Media Fund as a leading voice in the emerging vertical microdrama industry.
