Marginal MediaWorks, Inc. ('MARGINAL') is an independent production company and public benefit corporation focused on premium genre storytelling from outsider and marginalized voices. The company develops and produces feature films, episodic series, animation, interactive/Web3 content, and audio series across thriller, horror, heist, near-future sci-fi, comedy, and aspirational narrative subgenres. In its first several years, Marginal has produced over a dozen feature films distributed on Amazon, HBO Max, Hulu, and IFC, earning recognition from the Gotham Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, GLAAD, NAACP Image Awards, Imagen Awards, and a Jury Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. Imagine Entertainment (Brian Grazer and Ron Howard) acquired a majority stake in the company in 2018.
