Lookingglass Theatre Company

Lookingglass Theatre Company is a Chicago-based non-profit ensemble theatre founded in 1988 by graduates of Northwestern University, including David Schwimmer. Located inside the historic Water Tower Water Works building on Michigan Avenue since 2003, the company is a nationwide leader in the creation and presentation of new, cutting-edge theatrical works characterized by physical, visually rich, and aurally dynamic storytelling. Recipient of the 2011 Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre and the 2016 MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, Lookingglass has staged more than 65 world premieres and tours productions nationally.
