Lighthouse Studios is a BAFTA-winning, story-first content production and 2D animation studio based in Kilkenny, Ireland, founded in 2017 as a joint venture between Canada's Mercury Filmworks and Ireland's Cartoon Saloon. Known for award-winning animated series and features, the studio develops and produces a range of formats — from 2D and hybrid animation to live action — for global streamers, broadcasters and partners including Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon, Warner Bros., and Adult Swim. One of the fastest-growing animation companies in Ireland, Lighthouse has credits on major productions including The Cuphead Show!, The Bob's Burgers Movie, Rick and Morty, and the original series El Deafo for Apple TV+.
