Les Films du Poisson

Les Films du Poisson is an independent French film production and distribution company founded in 1994 by Yaël Fogiel and Laetitia Gonzalez, headquartered in Paris. The company has produced more than a hundred features, documentaries, and short films that have been selected at the world's most prestigious festivals — Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Sundance — earning multiple César Awards, a Caméra d'Or, a Best Director Prize at Cannes, and an Oscar nomination. Regarded as a major force in European independent cinema, its producers were named Best French Producers by the Académie des arts et techniques du cinéma (César) in 2011 and received the Pierre Chevalier Prize in 2026.
