Kintsugi Cine

Kintsugi Cine is a Tijuana-based Mexican independent film production and creative development studio co-founded by producer Paulina Valencia and filmmaker Nicolasa Ruiz. The company serves as a creative platform for filmmakers developing and producing cinematic projects, with collaborations alongside internationally recognized directors including Ricardo Silva, David Pablos, Abel Ferrara, and Matt Porterfield. Their films have screened at prestigious festivals including Locarno, Cannes, Jeonju, Visions du Réel, and Morelia, and have received grants from the Hubert Bals Fund, FOPROCINE, and GFFF. Valencia, the youngest producer to win a Locarno Golden Leopard, also serves as director of MFC Madrefoca Cine.
