Imaginary Friends Productions Limited is an independent UK television production company founded by BAFTA-winning showrunner and screenwriter Chris Chibnall, based in both London and Dorset. The company specialises in developing and producing high-end, authored, and emotionally driven drama for mainstream audiences. Best known as co-producer of ITV's multi-award-winning crime drama Broadchurch and Netflix's Agatha Christie adaptation The Seven Dials Mystery, the company is also committed to industry development through its Next Generation Showrunner Programme, launched in partnership with ITV in 2022.
