Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual FundFollow

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund (Fondo Audiovisivo FVG) is a publicly administered regional film fund based in Udine, Italy, established to support the development of local film companies and promote regional audiovisual works in national and international markets. The Fund operates across three main sectors — training, development, and distribution — providing grants of up to 50% of eligible expenses to independent production companies and audiovisual professionals based in or operating within the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It is the first experience of its kind in the Italian regional panorama and has supported projects spanning fiction, short films, documentaries, and animation, including Laura Samani's award-winning 'Piccolo Corpo.' In addition to its grant programs, the Fund organizes major international co-production platforms such as the When East Meets West (WEMW) Trieste Co-Production Forum and the RE-ACT Regional Audiovisual Cooperation and Training initiative.
