Foreign Concept Entertainment is a film and television production company with operations in Los Angeles and Vancouver, specializing in local stories for a global audience. The company is led by executive producers Dylan Tarason (Hell or High Water, The Season) and Michael Rifkin, former co-head of Sony Pictures International Productions. Its flagship in-development project is 'The Ideal Man,' a thriller about CIA operative-turned-Thai-silk-entrepreneur Jim Thompson, developed in association with the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company and shopped to buyers at the 2026 Cannes Film Market, with principal photography targeted for Bangkok in mid-2027.
