About

Everyman Theatre Company is Cardiff's liveliest and most adventurous amateur/community theatre company, founded in 1942. Originally formed as the Unity Theatre Group with a focus on political theatre, it later shifted to presenting experimental live theatre in as professional a manner as possible. The company is resident at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff and is also the organiser of the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival, Wales' largest outdoor theatrical event, held annually at Sophia Gardens.
