Essential Film Group

Essential Film Group is a London-headquartered international production, financing, and sales company that publicly launched at the 2024 Cannes Market under the chairmanship of former SF Studios CEO Rasmus Ramstad. The group operates as a one-stop shop spanning film finance, production, post-production, and international sales through its dedicated division Essential Films International, led by veteran sales executives James Norrie and Nina Kolokouri. It maintains its own production studio infrastructure through Sarke Studios in Tbilisi, Georgia, and has established the Essential Film Fund as part of a 3–5 year investment plan.
