Chernin Entertainment is an American premium film and television production company founded on February 24, 2009 by Peter Chernin, former President and COO of News Corporation. The company is known for producing Oscar-nominated blockbusters including Ford v Ferrari, Hidden Figures, and The Greatest Showman, as well as the Planet of the Apes franchise, and streaming hits for Netflix and Apple TV+. Since 2022, it has operated as the flagship scripted label of The North Road Company, which was acquired by French media giant Mediawan in January 2026, making North Road Mediawan's North American hub.
