Calabrian Rhode

Calabrian Rhode Productions is a family-run independent film production company founded in 2018 by actress/producer Vanessa Marano, actress/singer/producer Laura Marano, and their mother Ellen Marano, a longtime Primetime Emmy consultant for HBO. The company is best known for producing the 2022 Netflix Original romantic comedy The Royal Treatment, which reached the No. 1 spot worldwide on Netflix upon its global release. Calabrian Rhode focuses on character-driven narrative features spanning romance, drama, and horror-comedy, and is actively expanding its slate with genre projects including Ring Leader (presented at Fantasia Film Festival's Frontières Co-Production Market in July 2026) and the romance When We Collided, co-produced with Brick Lane Entertainment.
