
"The Outpost" a new 10-episode fantasy adventure series by the Stargate's duo team starts shooting in January in Utah.
Electric Entertainment and Arrowstorm Entertainment are teaming for the fantasy adventure series The Outpost. The project marks the first collaboration between Dean Devlin Jonathan Glassner. Devlin is the 1994's "Stargate" writer & producer. Glassner is the creator of the spin-off series "Stargate: SG-1".
They will serve as executive producers of the film alongside Jennifer Griffin, Jason Faller, Mark Roskin, Rachel Olschan, and Zac Reeder.
Casting on the series is currently underway, with no broadcast outlet announced yet.
Project Synopsis
The Outpost was created by Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin. The story revolves the life of Talon, a strong female superhero. Talon is the lone survivor a race called BlackBloods. She tracks the killer of her family in a lawless fortress on the edge of the civilized world. In her journey, she discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power. To save herself and defend the world against a fanatical religious dictatorship, she must learn to control her power.
