Heft, a series to be directed by Two Night Stand director Max Nichols starts filming in May in Los Angeles, California.
Project Synopsis:
Heft is about Arthur, a former academic who hasn’t left his Brooklyn home in a decade. In Yonkers, seventeen-year-old Kel is navigating his life as the poor kid in a rich school and keeps his hopes up on a seemingly promising baseball career ― if he can free himself from his family issues. After nearly two decades of silence, it is Charlene’s ― Arthur's former student who also happens to be Kel's mother ― unexpected phone call to Arthur, a plea for help, that keeps their relationship running again.
