Filming in March: Dearbhla Walsh Directs Lionsgate's 'Jerusalem' in London

Dearbhla Walsh starts filming Jerusalem, a six-part series that will be produced and shot in March in the United Kingdom.

Lionsgate Television U.K. develops the best-seller novel Jerusalem as its first series. Lionsgate’s creative director of UK television will develop the show while collaborating with Lionsgate’s US creative team.

Project Synopsis:

The series revolves around a bold young woman who joins the Civil Service in 1945. The Labour party sweeps to victory, thus defeating Winston Churchill fast. Her family dismisses her ambition to make something of her life while being complicated by her American lover. In addition, the Americans have hidden agendas in making sure England’s Socialist ambitions don’t play into Soviet hands.
