Project Synopsis:
A former cop turned screenwriter finds his way to Palm Springs as he tries to run from his debts. There he met a former disco singer/movie queen whom he eventually fell in love with. Together, they agreed to work on a comeback piece for the singer's Broadway play until her son steps in and tries to convince the screenwriter to kill his mother instead for insurance.
