About
Yanick Létourneau is an internationally recognized Canadian film producer and co-founder & President of Périphéria, a Montreal-based production company he launched in 2000 with Diego Briceño, focused on bold, politically engaged cinema with a global outlook. His career highlights include producing Philippe Lacôte's Night of the Kings (Oscar-shortlisted, Venice/TIFF/Sundance) and Bruno Mourral's Kidnapping Inc. (Sundance 2024). His work spans fiction, documentary, and hybrid forms that have screened at top festivals including Venice, Sundance, TIFF, and Tribeca. Beyond production, he co-founded the Union of Quebec Film Producers (UPPCQ) and the RIDM Forum, and teaches regularly at Concordia University.
