Périphéria Productions

Périphéria is a cosmopolitan, Montreal-based film production company founded in 2000 by Yanick Létourneau and Diego Briceño, dedicated to bold, genre-defying, director-driven cinema for local and international audiences. The company is one of Canada's most active international co-producers, with a strong focus on Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, championing underrepresented voices and socially conscious storytelling. Its productions have screened at top festivals including Venice, Sundance, TIFF, Berlinale, and Tribeca, with notable titles including Night of the Kings (Oscar-shortlisted, 2020) and Kidnapping Inc. (Sundance 2024).
