William Sherak is a veteran Hollywood producer and Co-CEO of Project X Entertainment, the independent production and financing company he co-founded in 2019 with writer-director James Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein. He is known for producing the rebooted Scream franchise (2022–2026), Netflix's global hit series The Night Agent, Ready or Not, Suspiria, Ambulance, Nuremberg, and Fountain of Youth. Earlier in his career he co-founded Stereo D, the industry-leading 2D-to-3D conversion company, serving as its President before Deluxe Entertainment acquired it in 2011; he subsequently served as President of Post-Production for Deluxe Entertainment Services before returning full-time to producing.
