Project X Entertainment (PXE) is an independent production and financing company founded in 2019 and headquartered in North Hollywood, California. Co-founded by writer-director-producer James Vanderbilt, producer William Sherak, and finance/business operations executive Paul Neinstein, the company takes a creative-driven approach to discovering, producing, and financing original stories across film and television for all platforms and mediums. PXE is known for reviving the Scream franchise, producing Netflix's global hit series The Night Agent, and partnering on high-profile theatrical features such as Michael Bay's Ambulance and Guy Ritchie's Fountain of Youth for Apple/Skydance.
