Tony Hernandez is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer, founder and CEO of Counterpart Studios, and former co-founder & CEO of New York-based Jax Media (est. 2011), which he built into one of television's most prolific production companies before its acquisition by Imagine Entertainment. Over two decades, he developed a signature model of high-quality, cost-efficient production, serving as executive producer on acclaimed series including Emily in Paris, Russian Doll, Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and feature films including Top Five. In 2025, he officially launched Counterpart Studios alongside co-founders Lilly Burns and Elise Henderson, with a slate including Dexter: Original Sin, Dexter: Resurrection, Free Bert (Netflix), and Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (Apple TV+).
