About
Jax Media is a New York based company that specializes in film and television production. The company is helmed by production veteran Tony Hernandez, who is a producer on the Emmy award-winning FX series "Louie" as well as the upcoming David Wain feature film "They Came Together", starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. Jax Media was founded in 2011, and has since produced "The Onion News Network" on IFC, and multiple pilots for Comedy Central and IFC. Jax Media begins production this fall on the new comedy series "Inside Amy Schumer" as well as the half-hour comedy pilot "Broad City" being produced by Amy Poehler, based on the web series of the same name.
