About

Tessa Sarah Ross CBE is a pre-eminent British film and television producer and Co-CEO of House Productions, the London-based company she co-founded with Juliette Howell in 2016, now fully owned by BBC Studios. Previously she ran Film4 and Film4 Productions from 2002–2014, championing landmark British cinema including Slumdog Millionaire, 12 Years a Slave, This Is England, and Carol. In 2025, she won the BAFTA Award for Best Film (and Outstanding British Film) and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture as producer of Edward Berger's Conclave. She is currently producing Danny Boyle's Ink (in production) and Justine Triet's Fonda (shot April–June 2026).
