Steve Hutensky is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Made Up Stories, the acclaimed film and television development and production company he launched in 2017 alongside Bruna Papandrea (his spouse) and Jodi Matterson, with offices in Los Angeles and Sydney. He has produced and executive produced a string of critically acclaimed projects including The Nightingale (Venice Special Jury Prize), The Dry, Penguin Bloom, Nine Perfect Strangers, Anatomy of a Scandal, Pieces of Her, ROAR, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Strife, and Force of Nature: The Dry 2. Prior to Made Up Stories, he served as Senior EVP and head of business affairs at Relativity Media (2009–2011) and as a top executive at Miramax Films (1995–2004). He holds a JD from NYU Law School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
