Max Handelman is an American film and television producer and co-founder of Brownstone Productions, the production banner he launched in October 2002 alongside his wife, actress-director Elizabeth Banks. He serves as President of Brownstone Productions, headquartered on the Universal Studios Lot, which is best known for the billion-dollar-grossing Pitch Perfect franchise, Charlie's Angels (2019), Cocaine Bear (2023), and Bottoms (2023). In June 2025, Brownstone signed a first-look deal with Universal Television, with projects including Pitch Perfect: K-Pop Idols and Crush in development at Peacock. Before entering entertainment, Handelman worked as an investment banker and at News Corporation, and co-authored the 2006 book 'Why Fantasy Football Matters: (And Our Lives Do Not).'
