Kim Taylor-Coleman, CSA is a Los Angeles-based Casting Director with decades of experience across film and television. She is a two-time Emmy nominee (American Crime, Lovecraft Country) and has received 5 Artios Awards from the Casting Society of America for her work on BlacKkKlansman, Dear White People, Dope, Lovecraft Country, and Zola. A prolific collaborator with Spike Lee and Tyler Perry, she has cast major features including Harriet, Da 5 Bloods, and Space Jam: A New Legacy, and is currently casting Beyond the Gates (CBS), CROSS (Prime Video), and numerous Tyler Perry productions. She serves as a Governor of the Casting Directors Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was instrumental in securing the first-ever Oscar category for Casting Directors, beginning in 2026.
