Keith Cox is a veteran television executive with over two decades at Viacom/Paramount brands, having served as programming president for multiple networks including TV Land, Paramount Network, and Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios. He is best known as the executive who greenlighted Yellowstone at Paramount Network and championed Taylor Sheridan's prolific franchise, which grew to include 1883, 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness, Landman, and more. He also shepherded Emily in Paris to Netflix and launched Jez Butterworth's Paramount+ slate including MobLand and The Agency. Cox departed Paramount Television Studios on June 5, 2026 following the Skydance merger and was in negotiations to join former Paramount co-CEO Chris McCarthy at NBCUniversal.
