Jude Weng is a Taiwanese-born American director of episodic television and feature films, specializing in both multi- and single-camera half-hour comedies and one-hour dramas across major broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. Her Netflix feature directorial debut Finding 'Ohana (2021) topped the platform's Top 10 Most Viewed Movies list, and her episode of Lucky Hank was named one of Rolling Stone's Top 10 Best Episodes of Television in 2023; she also became the first Asian-American woman to direct a half-hour broadcast network pilot in 2019. In addition to directing credits spanning Black-ish, The Good Place, Only Murders in the Building, Twisted Metal, Ghosts, Frasier, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Matlock, she serves as a mentor in the DGA Director Development Initiative and as an instructor for the Paramount Directing Initiative.
