Emily Cummins is a veteran television producer and development executive serving as President of Julie Plec's Universal Television-based production banner My So-Called Company, where she oversees development and produces projects for the company. She previously spent a decade as VP of Drama Development at Disney/ABC Signature Television (2011–2021), shepherding acclaimed series including Nashville, A Million Little Things, and When We Rise. Her most recent producing credit is the Prime Video hit We Were Liars (2025), which reached #1 worldwide, and she is currently executive producing Season 2 of that series, in production as of mid-2026. Earlier in her career she held executive roles at Weed Road Pictures (Akiva Goldsman), Red Wagon Entertainment, and Cosmic Entertainment, and began at William Morris Agency, CAA, and Brillstein Grey Entertainment.
