Ellen Goldsmith-Vein is the founder and CEO of The Gotham Group, a premier global management and production company she established in Los Angeles in 1993. She is widely recognized as a trailblazer in the industry — notably the only woman to be the sole owner of a major representation firm in Hollywood — and was the first talent manager ever featured on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter's 'Power 100' issue in 2006. As a producer, she oversaw the billion-dollar Maze Runner film franchise, the Stargirl franchise for Disney+, the Emmy-nominated animated series Creature Comforts, and the Netflix animated feature Wendell & Wild. The Gotham Group also holds a first-look deal at 20th Television and represents leading writers, directors, and producers while maintaining one of Hollywood's largest libraries of optioned literary and comic IP.
