David Jonathan Heyman (born 26 July 1961) is an English film and television producer and founder of Heyday Films, established in 1997. He is the second-most commercially successful producer of all time, best known for producing all eight Harry Potter films and all three Fantastic Beasts films for Warner Bros., as well as acclaimed titles including Gravity, Paddington, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Marriage Story, Barbie, and Wonka. In August 2026, Heyday Films signed a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios — where he is also producing the next James Bond film alongside Amy Pascal — marking his transition away from his long tenure at Warner Bros. He is currently in post-production or development on multiple high-profile projects including Klara and the Sun (Sony/Waititi), Artificial (Amazon MGM/Guadagnino), F.A.S.T., The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth (Fincher), and the HBO Harry Potter series.
