Danny Perkins is a London-based British film producer and company executive who founded Elysian Film Group in 2018 after departing as CEO of StudioCanal UK, a role he held for approximately 12 years. At StudioCanal, he oversaw major UK box office hits including the Paddington franchise, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Imitation Game, and earned executive producer credits on films such as Alan Partridge, '71, Carol, and Macbeth. He launched Elysian Film Group with producer Kate Solomon, producing the Take That musical Greatest Days (2023) and securing UK distribution rights to Studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron. As of June 2026, Elysian Film Group Distribution Ltd has entered insolvency, though Perkins has confirmed his production company, Elysian Film Group Ltd, remains active.
