About
Carver Karaszewski is a Los Angeles-based film and television producer and executive who got her start producing music videos before spending approximately a decade at Media Res, where she was the indie studio's first hire and helped develop and produce acclaimed series including Boots Riley's I'm a Virgo (Amazon, 2023) and Scenes from a Marriage (HBO, 2021). In February 2025, she was named President of Development at Chum Films, the newly launched production company founded by Emmy-winning filmmaker Hiro Murai, which holds a first-look deal with FX Productions. Current Chum Films projects on her slate include the Apple TV+ horror-comedy series Widow's Bay (starring Matthew Rhys) and the A24 samurai film Bushido. She is the daughter of screenwriter Larry Karaszewski.
