Amy Israel is a veteran television and film executive currently serving as President of Television at North Road Television Studio, the scripted TV arm of The North Road Company (now acquired by European studio Mediawan). She joined North Road in late 2023 after over a decade at Showtime, where as EVP of Scripted Programming she oversaw acclaimed series including Yellowjackets, Billions, Ripley, Fellow Travelers, and The Affair. Her earlier career spans executive roles at New Regency (EVP Production), Paramount Vantage (Head of Production & Acquisitions), and Miramax Films (Co-Head of Acquisitions & Co-Production), with credits including Academy Award winners No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, and Life Is Beautiful. She is a graduate of Oberlin College with a B.A. in Art History and is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
