North Road

The North Road Company is a premier independent global content studio founded in 2022 by Peter Chernin, producing scripted, unscripted, and documentary film and television content across the U.S. and international markets. It houses market-leading subsidiaries including Chernin Entertainment, Kinetic Content, Words + Pictures, Karga Seven Pictures, Perro Azul, 44 Blue Productions, and others, making it one of the world's largest independent content suppliers with over 70 active productions. In January 2026, North Road was acquired by French media company Mediawan, with Chernin continuing as non-executive chairman and Scott Manson remaining as CEO.
