Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings Co., Ltd. is Japan's largest and most historically significant entertainment conglomerate, founded in 1912 in Osaka as a traditional theatre and now managing over 6,000 performers — predominantly comedians, actors, musicians, and athletes. The company is a dominant force in Japanese comedy (owarai), talent management, TV/radio program production, theater operation, digital content distribution, and live events, producing more than 5,000 live events annually. It operates iconic venues such as Namba Grand Kagetsu and Lumine the Yoshimoto, owns the satellite TV channel BS Yoshimoto, and has expanded internationally through formats like LOL: Last One Laughing (derived from its Amazon Prime Video series Documental). Yoshimoto restructured as a holding company in 2007 and went private in 2010.
