About

The Horror Section is a fan-owned, independent 360-degree horror media company founded in March 2025 by filmmaker and actor Eli Roth in partnership with Media Capital Technologies (MCT). The company produces and distributes original horror films theatrically and is active across film, television, gaming, podcasts, and live events. It is notable for selling a 10% equity stake to over 2,000 fans via the Republic crowdfunding platform, making it a pioneering fan-owned entertainment studio. Its upcoming slate includes Eli Roth's Ice Cream Man (2026) and Don't Go In That House, Bitch! (2027), the latter co-produced with Snoop Dogg.
