Rubicon Theatre

Rubicon Theatre Company is a not-for-profit, professional regional theatre company based in Ventura, California, founded in 1998 by co-Artistic Directors James O'Neil and Karyl Lynn Burns. Its mission is to entertain, enrich, and educate the region's residents and visitors through innovative professional theatrical productions, festivals, special events, and education programs. The company is Ventura County's premier professional theatre and has earned numerous national and regional awards, including a Drama Desk Award for 'Outstanding Revue,' the L.A. Drama Critics' Circle Margaret Harford Award for Sustained Excellence, and 15 Ovation Awards. Now entering its 28th season, Rubicon produces comedies, dramas, musicals, and concerts, and also operates robust summer education programs.
