Notch Theatre CompanyFollow

Notch Theatre Company is a New York-based nonprofit theatre organization founded by Ashley Olive Teague that creates community-responsive theatrical work to amplify local stories and support grassroots efforts on a national scale. The company collaborates with communities across the country to tell real stories on stage, driving social change around pressing social, health, and civic issues. Notch's model involves gathering stories from real people, creating original plays inspired by those stories, and including community members in the making and performance of the work.
