Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is an American cruise line founded in 1966 and headquartered in Miami-Dade County, Florida. As a subsidiary of publicly traded Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: NCLH), NCL operates a fleet of approximately 20 contemporary ships sailing to nearly 350 destinations worldwide. NCL pioneered 'Freestyle Cruising' — offering guests no assigned dining times or formal dress codes — and is known for award-winning onboard entertainment productions developed at its Creative Studios in Tampa, Florida, including Broadway-style shows and original performances. NCL is also the parent of Sixthman, a themed music festival-at-sea company.
