Netflix Animation Studios is a full-pipeline American animation studio and production company founded in March 2018 as a subsidiary of Netflix, Inc., headquartered in Burbank, California, with additional facilities in Sydney, Australia and Vancouver, Canada. The studio develops and produces animated feature films and television series exclusively for the Netflix streaming service, operating a filmmaker-led model across visual styles ranging from stylized 2D/3D hybrids to hyper-realistic CG. It was significantly expanded in 2022 with the acquisition of Australian VFX and animation house Animal Logic, which was fully merged into the Netflix Animation brand in January 2024 under the unified Netflix Animation Studios name. The studio has earned multiple Oscar nominations, including a win for the short 'If Anything Happens, I Love You,' and has produced 18 feature films as of late 2025.
